Funny... it actually took a sex video scandal for this mushy 80s song to gain the spotlight again in this part of the globe. I don't know if George Michael will appreciate it or cringe, but his 1984 #1 hit "Careless Whisper" got a new lease in life all because of that controversial Hayden Kho-Katrina Halili sex video - nope, not the real one, but the one where they lip-synched the song while dancing in their underwear (love that bandanna doc!). And, it has a name... the "Careless Whisper Scandal" (google it). What a way to revive an 80s classic. Now practically everybody's singing (or lip-synching to) the song (while probably in their underwear). Even radio deejays can't help but talk about "the video" in their spiels before and after playing that friggin track.
